
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cem Bayram earned his BSc in Chemistry in 2005 and currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine Department at the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Hacettepe University. He received his PhD from the same department in 2013, focusing on the nanoscale surface modification of titanium implants via anodic oxidation.
Beyond his academic tenure, Dr. Bayram holds a pivotal administrative role as the Director of Hacettepe University Advanced Technologies Application and Research Center (HUNITEK), overseeing advanced analysis services for both academic and industrial partners.
His current research interests have expanded to include bioactive implant interfaces, biodegradable membranes, advanced hydrogel structures and piezoelectric biomaterial platforms. Leading the ‘BayramLab,’ he adopts an interdisciplinary approach, coordinating studies that involve co-researchers from basic sciences, engineering, medicine, pharmacy, and dentistry.
