Assist. Prof. Dr. Cem Bayram received his BSc degree in Chemistry in 2005 and currently holds an assistant professor position in Hacettepe University, Institute of Science and Technology, Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine Department, where he received his PhD degree in 2013. The topic of his doctoral thesis was “the surface modification of titanium implants at nanoscale via anodic oxidation”.
After receiving PhD degree he worked as a research engineer in core research facility of the same university for five years, mainly responsible for the FIB-SEM and surface characterization devices. To date, Cem Bayram has co-authored over 30 publications published within the scope of the WOS SCI-Expanded index and over 600 citations to them, with an h-index of 15. Research studies involve co-researchers from basic sciences, engineering, medicine, pharmacy and dentistry.
