Porous Structures

Our research group has extensive experience in preparing polymer and polymer matrix-based composite porous materials. We can fabricate porous membranes and three-dimensional scaffolds with a wide range of pore sizes using various techniques, including electrohydrodynamics, microfluidics, template molding, coagulation-phase separation, and breath figure.

The polymeric and composite porous structures produced by our team have been utilized in various applications, including tissue scaffolds, wound dressing materials, filtration membranes, photocatalytic materials, and tactile sensor technology.

The size distribution and interconnectivity can be controlled by adjusting the fabrication parameters.
